029 My First Commissioned Quilt

I was asked several months ago to make a Baby Quilt for a baby due January/February. No specific instructions, just that it was a Boy.

I'd seen a patchwork pillow made
in the shape of a Scotty dog,
my pattern is the same, just made into quilt blocks.
The backing fabric was in my stash
for a reason right?
My hand at pebble free motion quilting. It uses quite a bit more thread, but I like the look of it.

  3. What a sweet quilt and a great way to make those little dogs. Perfect backing fabric, for sure! Your pebbles look great. Try as I may, I can never seem to get the hang of them. You've inspired me to try them again!
